Pirastro Perpetual Violin Strings

Perpetual strings deliver a full, radiant tone with exceptional ease and immediate tuning stability after installation. Innovative materials and carefully matched production methods give them a unique character. Among Pirastro violin strings, Perpetual offers the greatest volume and carrying power with focused projection. Its clear sound retains rich tonal color, while a vibrant attack and responsive feel support everything from extreme fortissimo to the softest whisper. Perpetual violin strings respond precisely to subtle changes in bow speed and pressure, enabling a wide dynamic and expressive range. Their innovative core supports smooth legato, shifting, string crossings, double stops, and chords, while extended reverberation enhances the sound’s beauty.

E-Platinum: The Perpetual set includes a platinum-plated E-string in 0.26 mm for a silvery, brilliant sound or 0.267 mm for a slightly darker, fuller tone. A-Steel/Chrome Steel: This optional steel core A String delivers a round, colorful, full sound and blends naturally with Perpetual synthetic-core D and G strings. Its slightly higher tension adds no extra burden compared with the synthetic A. A removable ball makes it compatible with all fine tuners. Cadenza Set: balances brilliance and depth with easier playability, rich overtones, free resonance, and excellent response across the bow. Low tension supports effortless left-hand technique, while moderate power, warm tonal colors, and smooth transitions enable expressive playing from whisper-soft to moderately loud dynamics.
