The High Tech series of cases are the popular choices made by Bam. High Tech Series cases are made with a shell of 3 layers. The inner and outer layer are ABS plastic and the core is Airex foam. This makes for a very strong but light sandwich of materials. Airex is also very good at thermal protection. Contoured model in particular appeal to players that want a light case that still offers practical interior storage for accessories like the shoulder rest. Most of all, these smaller model actually offer more protection. Oblong cases have corners, and longer spans for the material go, which makes them inherently weaker than a small case with smooth contours.

Limited edition colors come and go. People still email to ask about colors that have not been available for years so don't wait if you want certain color of the case.
