We offer the broadest selection of shoulder rests because the needs of violinists and violists are so unique. We suggest you order a few shoulder rests, and return the ones that do no suit you. When trying a new rest, keep in mind that you may not be initially comfortable with a rest simply because it is different than what you have been using. Allow adequate time for experimentation, and for your body to adjust before deciding against a product. Consider trying various chinrests in conjunction with your shoulder rest choices.

Kun Original. Long the standard shoulder rest for students and professionals alike. Width adjustment is made in 1/4 inch increments.

Kun Super. Same shape as Original rest, but has a sliding end bracket, which allows finer control of width setting.

Kun Collapseable. Same shape as Original and Super, but has folding legs, to store in smaller compartments.

Kun Bravo. DeLuxe model with wood and metal construction. It's more rigid than other Kun models, and also has a wider pad for greater comfort.

Kun Bravo Collapseable. Same as standard Bravo, but has folding end brackets to store in smaller compartments.

Kun Voce. Violin Only. New concept, lightweight carbon fiber shoulder rest. Also has innovative new fork members.

Viva La Musica. Original Wooden model.Wood is stiffer than plastic, so these feel more rigid compared to Kun and other plastic rests.

Viva La Musica Diamond. New contour, with choicest wood selection. Gold Hardware. Viola rests are labeled XXL, but fit all sizes of Viola.

Viva La Musica Professional. Same shape as original model, but has a choice of premium woods.
