Evah Pirazzi The next time you try a new string, be sure it's Evah Pirazzi. Steel Core, 4/4 Only.
Permanent New steel core string. G and C are Silver and Tungsten wound. This is the construction that most modern cellist prefer for the lower register. 4/4 size only.

 

 

Synoxa Synthetic
core string for soloists and orchestra musicians. Slightly brighter than Aricore. 4/4 Only.

Aricore Synthetic string for orchestra musicians. Dark timbre, warm sound. Optional A intended for use with gut strings. The warmest of the synthetic core Pirastro strings. 4/4 Only.

 

Chromcor Steel core string for soloists and orchestra musicians, bright sound and big tonal volume. Easy response, easily tuned. All sizes available. The "Plus" variation D provides a deeper more "important" sound. 4/4 Only.

Flexocor Steel rope core string recently reformulated for modern tastes. G and C strings are Tungsten and Silver wound, the type of construction preferred by modern cellists. 4/4 only.

 

 

Piranito Student
string with brilliant sound and easy playability. Available in many sizes.

 
Olive Premiere gut core string. Some players are not able to get used to the slower response, and the limit of pressure the strings can take from the bow. 4/4 Only

 

Eudoxa Gut core
string with slightly brighter tone than Olive. Other performance characteristics are the same. 4/4 Only

Gold Label Budget gut core string. No gauge selections available. 4/4 Only

  

Chorda Authentic gut
core strings for baroque music. Some strings in the set are unwound. Oil treatment such as linseed or olive oil is recommended. 4/4 Only
