The
choice of color is not purely an aesthetic one. Dark color cases
will retain more heat, and this can cause a build-up of heat
inside the case. These cases have a very good seal, so even
a small portion of the shell, exposed to sunlight, can be enough
to raise the interior temperature of teh case, and potentially
damage certain types of varnish. A light color exterior is recommended
for extra thermal protection. Many of the colors we are offering
as part of this promotion are white, silver, or other light
exteriors. Please consider a light color case, if you want to
maximize the thermal proection for your Cello.
