"Studio Monitors"

Fluid Audio C5 Studio Monitor

"The Classic Series C5 studio monitor from Fluid Audio redefines the sound quality of a budget studio monitor. Having more than 23 years designing speakers, it's one thing to have the luxury to design great sounding monitors using expensive components and unique, space age materials However, what we set out to do was more of a challenge: Create an extraordinary sounding studio monitor using just ordinary, classic technologies and components. No Beryllium. No Titanium just proven technologies and components put together to sound great and at an attractive price point. The C5 features a 5-inch low frequency transducer and a 1-inch PEI diaphragm tweeter mounted to a specially designed waveguide to create a better off-axis response and more coherent soundstage. With TRS and RCA inputs and 40 watts of total power, the C5 is perfect for any desktop monitoring application."

Fluid Audio FX50 Bi Amplified Coaxial Studio Monitor

"Keeping true to the original keyhole design, the FX enclosure has been updated with a complex radius front baffle, which not only looks pretty cool, it improves cabinet defraction. Mounted in the center of the woofer is a 25mm silk dome tweeter in a coaxial configuration. Using this technology (unique in its price range) makes it a point source device, meaning that all the sound emanates from a single point not points that are 10 apart. This is crucial for improving off-axis response, but also allows for a more compact footprint cabinet. Sometimes the spaces where we mix aren't the most forgiving acoustically. The FX series monitors come equipped with boundary control EQ switches, that allow you to compensate for spaces that may not have been tuned or just need to be adjusted due to their proximity to the wall behind them. There is also a guide conveniently printed on the rear panel to show how the DIP switches work, and a more detailed explanation in the user guide."

"Monitor Stands"

Fluid Audio DS5 Small & Medium Studio Monitor Stand

"The Fluid Audio DS5 desktop monitor stand is designed for use with 4 and 6 driver loaded studio monitors. They elevate your monitors to one of two heights: 2.5 and 5. Using custom formulated rubberized silicone feet, the stands provide critical acoustic isolation. Tilt can also be set to one of 3 angles: Flat, 3, and/or 6 degrees of tilt. Elevating your monitors closer to ear-level means you get better on-axis response. High frequencies coming from tweeters are more directional (or beam-like), so getting them up and closer to ear level means you hear a more full-frequency response. Made from MDF wood (the same material as your monitor enclosures) they are rugged and acoustically well damped. The posts are made from polypropylene, minimizing the ringing sound of ABS plastic. Both top and bottom of DS5 and DS8 stands are capped off with highly absorbent, 40 durometer rubber feet using Fluid's own 'vibreaker' technology allowing your monitors to breathe and produce purer tones with less distorted midrange."
