Henriksen Amplification

Henriksen has quickly developed a reputation for the most desirable ultra-compact combo amplifiers. You will not believe what comes out of these little boxes.

Henriksen JazzAmp Ten

The JazzAmp Ten is the updated version of the JazzAmp 310 which was designed by Bud Henriksen to be, simply, the perfect jazz guitar amplifier. Much has changed in the last decade; we have seriously increased the output power and added a much more feature rich layout. However, none of that tampers with the original tone recipe invented back on 2005. The JazzAmp Ten continues to amaze guitarists with its tone, power, portability and features and is a standard around the world for jazz guitar amplification. The JazzAmp Ten features an Eminence Beta speaker and a defeat-able Eminence tweeter in a port tuned cabinet for an even, full range response to properly amplify everything from the lows of a fingerstyle bass line to the high presence demands of a manouche guitar. The Beta speaker gives you a warm, dark and mellow tone and the tweeter creates a high frequency dimension that sparkles and really brings out acoustic qualities of your guitar, and will add an acoustic quality to your solid body. The new version has a closed back, and a deeper cabinet. The feature set on the Ten includes an input gain control along with the 1/4″/XLR phantom powered combo jack to accommodate almost any pickup system. The 5-band EQ offers the ability to adjust the amplifier to the room without messing with the original tone of the instrument. There is also an extension speaker output, FX loop, tweeter defeat switch, balanced XLR line out and a headphone jack. 120 watts. Input Gain Control. Bright switch. 5 band graphic EQ. Reverb. 48v phantom powered XLR/1/4″ combo input. Balanced XLR line out (post EQ and reverb). Eminence Beta 10 speaker with ASD1001 tweeter. TRS send/return FX loop. Ext. Speaker out. Headphone Jack

Henriksen JazzAmp 312

When we were first developing the JazzAmp for guitar, we also wanted a bass model that was every bit as good for jazz bassists. So we built a prototype and sent it for evaluation to the greatest experts we could think of on the topic of upright bass for jazz – the David Gage shop in NYC. After many conversations and a focus group with everyone there as well as our own R&D, the 12″ bass model of the JazzAmp was born. Now with all the upgrades and features of the 3rd generation JazzAmp, the 312 is an incredibly expressive amp for bass, either electric or upright, and has the frequency spectrum coverage to make it a great amplifier solution for anything from stage piano to electric violin. The JazzAmp 312 features an Eminence Beta speaker and a defeat-able Eminence tweeter for an even, full range response in a cabinet designed to handle the low end of an upright bass yet maintain high end complexities necessary for guitar or other instruments.  The Beta speaker gives you a warm, dark and mellow tone and the tweeter creates a high frequency dimension that sparkles and really brings out acoustic qualities of your guitar, and will add an acoustic quality to your solid body guitars or EUB’s. The feature set on the 312 includes an input gain control along with the 1/4″/XLR phantom powered combo jack to accommodate almost any pickup system. Eminence Beta 12 speaker with ASD1001 tweeter. TRS send/return FX loop. Ext. Speaker out. Headphone Jack

Henriksen The Bud

Do you want to have an amplifier the size of a toaster that gives you the quality of tone for BOTH electric and acoustic instruments that you’d expect from a studio situation with enough volume to cover almost any gig? Of course you do. That’s why if you play guitar, or any stringed instrument with a pickup for that matter, you need a Bud. The Bud has every feature you need and more than enough volume to get your bandmates or club manager to ask you to turn down, and coupled with the extension cabinet you can keep up with the heaviest-handed drummer with no problem. The amp and cabinet are naturally feedback resistant which limits the need for artificial notch filtering and other suppression technologies that negatively effect your tone. But it’s not all about size and volume, there are lots of tiny, loud amplifiers on the market. You’ve tried them. You know what they sound like. The Bud is different. Henriksen Amplifiers is all about tone first, the incredibly portable size and feature set of The Bud were developed around the sound, not the other way around and you can definitely hear the difference. Our pre-amp, from input to output, is designed using the highest grade audio components. We offer a 5-band EQ with carefully chosen center frequencies which were fine-tuned by ear to meet the demands of different playing environments using the widest possible array of musical instruments. We give you two identical pre-amps, each with independent EQ and reverb and actual 48 volt phantom power, and an auxiliary input on each channel so that whatever you are using it for can be EQ’d separately from your instrument signal. Tech specs: 120 watts 17 lbs 9″x9″x9″ Ext.
